About Elan Vital Aotearoa New Zealand

Elan Vital Aotearoa New Zealand is a non-profit organisation, incorporated in New Zealand in 1974, that aims to promote the teachings of Prem Rawat and sponsors events and conferences at which Prem Rawat is invited to speak.

Elan Vital NZ cooperates with organisations with similar objectives in 45 countries around the world.

Elan Vital NZ is funded mainly by voluntary contributions. Prem Rawat receives no compensation from Elan Vital. Admission to events is free of charge.

Elan Vital's Values

Elan Vital upholds the spirit of tolerance and openness throughout the organisation and considers respect for the human being to be one of its most fundamental values.

Elan Vital supports each person's freedom of choice with regard to their philosophical, political and religious convictions. It rejects all forms of illegal discrimination, including those pertaining to race, nationality, age or gender.

It is also Elan Vital's position that all persons are free and responsible for their choices of family, professional and social life. The organisation neither addresses nor interferes with these areas.

Following Prem Rawat's teaching is a personal process and in no way requires involvement with any particular group or organisation. Each individual may therefore pursue this teaching without associating with or supporting Elan Vital.

In addition, each person freely decides the nature of their relationship to the teaching: they may follow it for whatever period of time they desire, abandon it if and when they want, and return again as they wish.

The decision to pursue learning more about Prem Rawat's teachings remains at all times an individual act, conscious and free. This is why minors, in particular, are asked to wait until they reach legal age before making their request.

Support for Elan Vital activities, whether personal skills or financial contributions, are voluntary and are made freely. Admission to conferences sponsored by Elan Vital is free, however there are some events where a donation is suggested to cover costs of the meeting.

Elan Vital NZ is a non-profit organisation which promotes Prem Rawat's teaching, coordinates events at which he speaks and provides information on activities. In order to provide easy access to the teachings of Prem Rawat, Elan Vital NZ makes a variety of products and distribution methods available, including TV broadcasts and mail order video libraries.
