Kia Ora and Welcome
This site provides information about Prem Rawat and his message.
Prem Rawat, known also by the honorary title Maharaji, is an international guest speaker and teacher who travels extensively speaking on the subject of enjoyment of life and inner peace.
From time to time, Prem Rawat accepts invitations to speak at events in New Zealand.
He last spoke here in May 2009 at an event in Auckland, where he addressed a full audience who responded warmly to his genial and positive message of peace.
In September 2006 he spoke at an event celebrating the United Nations' International Day of Peace at Parliament House in Wellington.
Prem Rawat was invited by Gianni Pitella, First Vice President of the European Union, to share his vision of peace at a special event called “Words of Peace for Europe,” held at the EU Parliament House in Brussels on 29 June 2010. He spoke to a diverse audience of diplomats, local leaders, and other honored guests from many countries. His remarks offered a clear and challenging perspective:
«If we have the power to make such a mess out of this earth, then certainly we have enough power to bring peace to this earth, too. The question remains whether or not it is something that we want to do.
Because peace begins with every one of you. It is individual human beings who need peace; it is individual human beings in whom the desire resides; and it is on the individual human being’s stage that peace needs to dance.»
